We at CressCap Investment Research Inc. (“CressCap,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) have created this privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) because we know that you care about how information you provide to us is used and shared.  This Privacy Policy relates to the information collection and use practices in connection with our services, which are made available to you through our website located at https://cresscap.com/ (the “Website”).

We may, but are not obligated to, update this Privacy Policy from time to time, with or without providing you notice of any material changes. By browsing the public areas of the Website or by clicking “I Accept”, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions of our Terms of Use, which are hereby incorporated by reference (collectively, this “Agreement”).  If you do not agree to any of these terms, then you are not permitted to use the Website.

Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Use.

  1. DESCRIPTION AND USE OF OUR WEBSITE

We provide Visitors and Registered Users with access to the Website as described below.

1.1       Visitors.  Visitors, as the term implies, are people who do not register with us, but want to explore the Website.  No login is required for Visitors.  Visitors can: (i) view and access all publicly-available features and functionality on the Website; and/or (ii) email us.

1.2       Registered Users.  Registered Users can do all the things that Visitors can do, as well as access and use password-protected areas of the Website.  Login is required for all Registered Users.

We are under no obligation to accept any individual as a Registered User and may accept or reject any registration in our sole and complete discretion.  In addition, we may, but are not required to, deactivate any account at any time, including, without limitation, if we determine that a Registered User has violated this Agreement.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND/OR RECEIVE

In the course of operating the Website and/or interacting with you, we will collect and/or receive the following types of information. You authorize us to collect, receive, use and share such information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

2.1       Contact Information.

When you sign up to become a Registered User or when you contact us, you will be required to provide certain information which may include your first name, last name, e-mail address, name of your organization, country, state/region, and phone number (“Contact Information”).

2.2       Billing Information.

When you sign up to become a Registered User, you will also be required to provide certain billing information, such as information related to your PayPal account, debit card number, credit card number, expiration date, bank account information, billing address, activation code, and similar information (collectively, the “Billing Information”).  You authorize our third-party payment vendors to collect, process, and store this information pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use.

2.3       Other Information.

In addition to Contact Information and Billing Information, we may collect or receive additional information (“Other Information”).  We may obtain Other Information in the following ways:

2.3.1    From Your Activity.     Information that we automatically collect when you use the Website, such as the device from which you access the Website and/or the Services, your IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Website you visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Website.

2.3.2    From Cookies.   We use automatic data collection technology when you visit the Website to collect information that identifies your computer.  This comprises information about your operating system, your IP addresses, browser type and language, referring pages and URLs, keywords, date and time, and what sections of the Website you visit.  Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit (“Cookies”).  We use cookies to help us collect Other Information and to enhance your experience using the Website.  If you do not want us to deploy cookies in your browser, you can opt out by setting your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when a website tries to put a cookie in your browser software.  If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you can still use the Website, although your ability to use some of the features may be affected.

2.3.4  Geo-Locational Information.  Certain features and functionalities of the Website may be based on your location.  In order to provide these features and functionalities while you are using a mobile device, we may automatically collect geo-locational information from your mobile device or wireless carrier and/or certain third-party service providers.  Collection of this information occurs only when the Website is running on your mobile device.  You may decline to allow us to collect such information by adjusting your browser settings, in which case we will not be able to provide certain features or functionalities to you.

  1. INFORMATION COLLECTED BY OR FROM THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISING

  • Agents, Providers and Related Third Parties. We may engage other companies and individuals to perform certain business-related functions on our behalf.   1. MANAGING YOUR INFORMATION & E-MAIL PREFERENCES

Registered Users may access, remove, review, and/or make changes to their Contact Information through their profile page.  In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any marketing e-mail. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner.  You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.  You cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to the Website.

  1. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION

The Website and its servers are operated in the United States. By accessing and/or using the Website after we make any such changes to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes.  Please be aware that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, our use of the Information is governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collect the Information.  Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.
