Luis Gomez is a finance professional with experience in sales and marketing, capital raising, managing sales teams and client relationships, business development, and starting and growing businesses.
In his most recent position, Luis managed the sales build out of a North American asset management company for Banco Bradesco, the largest private bank in Brazil, and Bradesco Asset Management, its $175 billion AUM unit. Prior to Bradesco, he was the Head of Client Relations and Marketing at Tree Capital, a long / short equity hedge fund where led the fundraising effort. From 1993-2008, Luis was employed at Morgan Stanley where he was Head of Latin America Equity Sales. His team led the execution of landmark transactions raising $13.5 billion in equity capital. Earlier, he was a Latin America Institutional Salesperson and part of a team that jointly raised a further $14 billion in equity and equity convertible capital for Latin American corporates. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Luis was the Financial Principal at Peregrine Brokerage Inc. (the NY subsidiary of the Asian broker dealer) in 1980-1991 and held various positions at Drexel, Burnham, Lambert from 1986-1990.
Luis graduated with a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University in 1985 and an MBA in Finance and in Multinational Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1993.
